End of the First Day of Classes
Sooo today I had my first bit of classes. Spanish was first. Not too bad, only in for 20 minutes. I think it might get a bit intense, each higher level brings more fluent speakers. And my professor is from Spain, so she has that lisp that I’ll have to get used to. But I think it’ll be ok.
And then, OMG, I had my Shakespeare class! Or, to be more accurate, Shakespeare’s Comedies and Histories. The class is pretty large for a 400 level class, but seeing as it’s Shakespeare I can understand. I like the professor a lot, though she can ramble a bit and not finish her thoughts. But she’s funny.
And then I had my first staff, or “masthead”, meeting for my school’s magazine, of which I am an editor. ‘Twas a busy meeting. We’re about to start on the next issue, which is due to come out February 22. So we had to talk about what all we were doing, and the meetings we have over the next couple of weeks. Suffice it to say I will be a very busy camper. Between classes and the magazine, I’m going to be busy. But I love it, so it’s all good.
By the way. NCIS is on tomorrow night!! AND RAY PROPOSES. If Ziva says yes….I won’t stop watching, but I will have a vendetta against the writers/directors/producers/etc.
